Ntxoov Zoua was born in 1898. He married Ntxhoo Thoj and together they have ten childerns; fives sons and five daugthers. He was appointed by King Sisavangvong to lead and govern seven territories. Because of his business boldness, Ntxoov Zoua became popular and was the richest man in the territories. He was known as “Phes Huam Nyoov” or the “Curly Hair Man”.

Ntxoov Zoua was not only rich and a great leader but he was also a great folk medicine man. He would bring those herbal medicines he had developed to help his people from village-to-villages. He passed away in 1952 but his legacy lives on within his childern and grandchildern.
