Zoov Kuam Autobiography

Zoov Kuam was born in 1940. He was the youngest child of Soom Mas and Lo Vaj. He married Tsawb Lis and together they have seven childern; three sons and 4 daughters. Zoov Kuam is well known for his knowledge in Hmong culture.

After he married Tsawb Lis, he followed in his father foot steps. He helps his brother Nkaj Yaj as an assistant villiage cheif and later was appointed as the viliage cheif. As an assistant cheif, he would helped his people moved from town to towns around ths countryside to elude the communist invasion.

Zoov Kuam and his wife escaped to Thailand in 1975 and later to America in 1978. In the United States, he worked for Lears Device for 20 years before retired and lives in Denver, Colorado.
